Red Line Hunter End-Game Guide (Post-Rework)
This is an updated Red Line Hunter guide for current end-game, reflecting post-rework Hunter skills and raid expectations.
As a Hunter, your job is burst DPS with clean execution and high uptime. This guide focuses on what raid groups expect from Hunters at level 100+ and end-game.
Role and Build Focus
- Primary role: single-target burst DPS
- Priority: front-load damage windows and maintain target debuffs
- Raid utility: corruption removal and induction interrupts on demand
Desired Stat Percentages (Raid Targets)
Aim for these targets when preparing for group and raid content:
Level Cap: 160
| Stat | % Cap | Rating (L160) | T1 Target | T2 Target | T3+ Target |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Physical Mastery | 200% | 900,000 | 200%+ | 210%+ | 220%+ |
| Critical Rating | 25% | 900,000 | 28%+ | 30%+ | 33%+ |
| Devastating Hits | 10% | 1,200,000 | 8%+ | 9%+ | 10%+ |
| Finesse | 50% | 600,000 | 35%-40% | 40%-45% | 45%-50% |
| Tactical Mitigation | 40% | 400,000 | 40%-45% | 45%-50% | 50%-55% |
| Physical Mitigation | 50% | 500,000 | 40%-45% | 45%-50% | 50%-55% |
Physical Mitigation cap varies by armor type: Light 40%, Medium 50%, Heavy 60%.
Important note on mitigation caps:
- Physical and Tactical Mitigation caps can be increased through Yellow Line survival traits.
- This increases the cap limit by 4%.
Skills Rotation Tips
Pre-Encounter Burst Setup
Use this sequence before or on pull:
Focus -> Camouflage -> Burn Hot -> Penetrating Shot -> Quick Shot -> Swift Bow -> Long Shot -> Barbed Arrow -> Heart Seeker -> Upshot
During Encounter Priority
Spam this core sequence:
Quick Shot -> Swift Bow -> Long Shot -> Barbed Arrow -> Heart Seeker -> Upshot
Then layer in utility/conditionals:
- Keep Penetrating Shot active as needed to maintain the -3% Physical and Tactical Mitigation debuff on target.
- At targets below 50% morale, add Bard's Arrow after Barbed Arrow.
- Use Orme's Arrow immediately when corruptions appear.
- Use Blindside to interrupt inductions when required.
Legendary Items (LI) Traceries
The following is the current tracery setup in use.
Heraldry of Serpent x2
Single Target Attack Criticals
Single Target Attack Damage
Ranged Attack Extension
Skill Induction Speed
Damage Over Time Criticals
Heroic Precision x4
Quick Shot Damage
Swift Bow Damage
Swift Mercy Chance
Burn Hot Damage- Merciful Shot and Huntsman's Shot Cooldown
Ranged Skills Critical Multiplier
Focus Spender Damage
Focus Builder Damage
Melee Skills Damage
Heart Seeker Damage
Rain of Arrows Damage
Upshot Damage
If you are swapping traceries for specific fights, preserve your core single-target burst package first, then flex utility/aoe slots.
Virtues
Current virtue set:
- Compassion
- Fidelity
- Honor
- Tolerance
- Wit
Practical virtue tuning advice:
- If you are short on mitigations, prioritize virtue swaps that raise Physical/Tactical Mitigation first.
- If survivability is stable, tune secondary virtues toward Critical and Mastery support.
- Keep one saved loadout for progression survivability and one for farm/burst.

Level 100+ Progression Guidance
The core stat priorities stay the same from 100 onward, but your gearing path changes by bracket.
Levels 100-119
- Prioritize easy mastery/crit upgrades from quests, instance drops, and crafted pieces.
- Do not overcap one offensive stat while leaving finesse low.
- Start building a clean LI foundation early.
Levels 120-129
- Tighten crit/devastate balance and avoid finesse drop-off.
- Upgrade traceries consistently instead of waiting for perfect drops.
- Keep mitigation near practical raid minimums, not pure glass-cannon values.
Levels 130-139
- This is where raid stat discipline starts to matter more.
- Push closer to your target bands and lock in your stable rotation timings.
- Build dedicated single-target and utility variants if needed.
Levels 140+
- Optimize for current end-game stat caps and encounter demands.
- Keep a survivability variant for progression nights.
- Maintain consumables, corruption response, and interrupt discipline every pull.

Raid Execution Checklist (Hunter)
Before pull:
- Confirm stat targets are within acceptable range.
- Confirm tracery setup for the fight type.
- Confirm consumables and hope/defensive prep.
- Pre-plan interrupt and corruption assignments.
During fight:
- Maintain debuff uptime with Penetrating Shot.
- Follow burst windows cleanly.
- Insert Bard's Arrow below 50% morale.
- Clear corruptions with Orme's Arrow.
- Interrupt key inductions with Blindside.
Final Notes
Red Line Hunter remains a high-impact raid DPS role when executed with strong burst sequencing and clean utility timing. If your output feels inconsistent, fix uptime and rotation discipline first, then refine stat tuning.
